Is your pet a runner - or more the stroll and sniff sort? Our private K9 walks are perfect for the pet who needs "their own space", as this way they get the one-on-one personal attention to suit their individual needs, on a daily or an as-needed basis. I'll come to your home, leash up your K9 and take them for up to a minimum half hour walk along their favorite area. Do you know what a happy dance is? That's what your K9 will be doing when your furry baby sees me at your door, ready for their long-awaited walk.
A well exercised K9 is less likely to display destructive behavior in your home. Providing a stimulating break during the day could help prevent separation anxiety, which can be painstaking to treat. Because most of us work full time it is almost impossible for us to provide all of what our K9s need without help. Seeking services with Kathy’s K9 & Kat Kare is a great way to get the help you need.
K9s should be well socialized, current on vaccines, and able to walk reasonably well on leash. All new K9s will be kept leashed until they demonstrate a reliable recall (except at enclosed dog play areas, where they may run free). I do my best to reinforce your own training and cultivate good “K9 manners”.
We all know a well-exercised K9 is a happy K9 and off leash group exercise is great for the K9 who likes to "wag in the fresh air breeze" with a couple of other pals (don't worry, I'll introduce your K9 to new pals who they'll get along with pup-ectly.) All K9 playmates are pre-screened for social skills, responsiveness and compatibility. They get my attention, play time with pals and the chance to stretch their paws while you're away.
Gotta go! Your K9 has needs (don't we all). And sometimes that need is to simply go out and do what nature intended. Quick walk, quick break, relief. Ask about our midday potty breaks - it could give you, your rug, and your pet "pee"s of mind.
